Job Description:

Installs, diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and upgrades all workstation related hardware and software and other end-user devices. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools. Must have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate technical issues in-person, over telephone, or through electronic communications. Expectations and Responsibilities: --- Desktop support with responsibility for multiple locations --- Troubleshoot issues with users including access, connectivity, hardware, software, and general questions --- Configure and install workstation hardware, software, and peripherals --- Diagnose general workstation hardware, software, and peripheral problems --- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses --- Maintain knowledge base and other documentation --- Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Other Requirements: --- HS Diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT related field preferred --- Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft products --- Self-motivated with a strong sense of customer service --- Solid organizational skills --- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, concurrent, and conflicting priorities and deadlines. --- Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds --- Ability to occasionally work in an industrial environment with continuous sitting and standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and kneelingDesired but not required: --- Experience utilizing issue tracking software following ITIL processes --- 1 - 2 years experience providing IT support --- CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or other related certifications --- Linux experienceCOVID Policy: In accordance with the Executive Order 14042 on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, Torch Technologies is obligated to comply with the requirements that all employees be vaccinated from COVID-19.
