Description SAIC is currently looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join our team located in Huntsville, AL!

Responsibiltiies Include:

• 
  
• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.
  
• Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.
  
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing data governance and security practices for the enterprise
  
• Produce documentation, artifacts, and designs for technical and non-technical audiences
  
• Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors. Bring thought leadership around recent trends and provide insight into how technology can impact our business and drive competitive advantages
  
  Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  
  Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
  
  Clearance: Must have an active Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required

  • Object-oriented programming and design, including writing unit tests
