Who is a Rugged Earth Outfitters Store Associate?

Motivated, guest focused, self-starter! You'll be responsible for driving sales through the engagement of our guests, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. You will be a part of a team that maintains high guest readiness standards and delivers a neat, clean, and easy to shop store environment.

This position reports to the store management team and will have extensive interaction with Bealls guests, associates, and supports the store management team with day-to-day store operations.

As a Store Associate every day is different, but a typical day includes the following:

• Being part of a team that delivers a legendary guest experience and drives sales by providing through product knowledge about vendors, styles, prices, and merchandise
  • Building guest loyalty through our Bealls Family of stores and credit and rewards programs
  • Maintaining high guest readiness standards and delivers a neat, clean, and easy to shop store environment
    • Executing store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experience
      • Understanding and usage of company standard software, systems, and procedures
        • Embracing the company's core values and engaging in teamwork to accomplish goals
          • Performs other duties as assignedWhat we are looking for in a Rugged Earth Outfitters Store Associate:
            • Customer Service Experience Preferred
            • Must have strong verbal communication skills and guest service skills
              • Work both independently and with a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goals
              • Embraces core values with a helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
              • Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
              • Learn and adapt to current technology needs
                • Ability to work varying hours and schedules to include days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Demands
                  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
                  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 20 pounds
                  • Must have full body rotation ad mobility (i.e. - bending, stopping, twisting, and reaching)
                  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
