Job Description:
HCA Healthcare, a leader in patient care, is seeking a PACU
Clinical Nurse Coordinator to enhance operational standards in our
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This involves overseeing nursing
activities, ensuring compliance with protocols, and maintaining
optimal patient safety and comfort. The role demands a proactive
approach in staff development, patient advocacy, and streamlining
care transition processes. Coordinate patient care in the PACU
setting. Supervise and mentor PACU staff nurses. Ensure adherence
to healthcare protocols and safety standards. Implement quality
improvement initiatives. Manage patient data and records with
confidentiality. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in
clinical and administrative healthcare systems. Knowledge of
post-anesthesia care procedures and requirements. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) Certification. Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN)
certification preferred.
