Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A registered nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures is needed for a travel assignment in Decatur, GA. This opportunity allows experienced CVOR RNs to apply specialized skills in a dynamic surgical environment while enjoying the flexibility and adventure that comes with travel nursing. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Prepare and maintain operating room instruments and equipment specific to cardiac procedures. Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, intervening as necessary. Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively. Qualifications and Preferred Experience: Current and active RN license. Proven experience in CVOR nursing. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, surgical techniques, and postoperative care. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced operating room settings.
