care in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting within a
supportive and high-quality healthcare environment. This contract
position offers the opportunity to work at a well-equipped acute
care facility located near the scenic campus of the University of
the South. Location Overview:Situated in Sewanee, TN, this hospital
is a 21-bed general acute care facility with a 20-bed skilled care
unit, serving a progressive and community-focused population. The
nearby Winchester campus complements the healthcare services with a
comprehensive 198-bed medical center featuring advanced diagnostic
and treatment technologies. Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert
nursing care to newborns in the NICU, monitoring vital signs and
responding to critical changes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate
families on care protocols and support them through neonatal health
challenges. Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and
facility standards. Participate in ongoing professional development
and adhere to required certifications. Desired Qualifications:
Valid and current RN licensure with neonatal intensive care unit
(NICU) experience. Required certifications as outlined by the
client; must be obtained prior to start. Ability to work
effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong critical
thinking and communication skills. Candidates must be located 60
miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel nurses.
Schedule: Orientation sessions held weekly on Mondays. Benefits and
