As part of our dedicated team, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients by providing high-quality radiologic images and contributing to patient treatment plans. Perform diagnostic imaging studies as prescribed by physicians while ensuring patient safety. Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate image quality and to determine if additional images need to be taken. Maintain radiology equipment and report any malfunctions for repairs. Provide compassionate patient care and explain imaging procedures to alleviate patient anxiety. Follow radiation safety procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and ensure safety of patients and staff. Document all performed procedures and maintain accurate patient records. Proficient in using various radiologic imaging equipment. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Ability to apply radiation safety principles and safe handling techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction. Time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
