Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center seeks a dedicated X-Ray
Imaging Tech to join our team. This role involves utilizing X-ray
imaging technologies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of
patients. The ideal candidate must adhere to our mission of
enhancing community health with a focus on innovative care tailored
to meet the specific needs of residents in Williamson, WV. The
X-Ray Imaging Tech will work under the guidance of our radiologists
to provide patient-centric imaging services. Operate and maintain
all x-ray imaging equipment safely and effectively. Prepare
patients for procedures, explaining techniques, and positioning
them appropriately to achieve high-quality images. Follow
physicians' instructions and adhere to all facility protocols
related to hygiene, safety, and patient privacy. Evaluate images
for quality and accuracy, forwarding them to the relevant medical
personnel. Maintain patient records and imaging files, adhering to
confidentiality requirements. Coordinate with other healthcare team
members to provide comprehensive patient care. Proficiency in using
radiographic equipment Ability to communicate effectively with
patients and team members Strong attention to detail and
problem-solving skills Knowledge of radiation safety measures and
regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) Valid state license to practice radiologic technology
