Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare, a leading staffing authority in the
healthcare sector, seeks a passionate and skilled Stepdown
Registered Nurse (RN) for assignments in Birmingham, Alabama. As a
key member of the healthcare team, this position entails providing
intermediate medical care to patients who are in a critical
condition but not severe enough for the ICU. This role is perfect
for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and are
committed to the recovery and well-being of their patients. By

patients. Monitor and record patient’s medical conditions and vital
signs. Administer medications, provide treatments, and assist in
minor medical procedures. Collaborate with the healthcare team to
plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients
and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical
procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Act as a
patient advocate by ensuring that the patient is fully informed and
comfortable during their stay in the unit. Proficient in using
medical software for patient care management. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a
high-pressure environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving
skills. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Alabama. BLS certification (Basic Life Support). ACLS certification
(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
