experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care in a neuro stepdown unit within a dynamic hospital setting.
This contract role is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with
a focus on neurological and stepdown patient care, offering an
opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a
supportive environment. Key Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years
experience in neuro stepdown nursing. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
certification is mandatory. Strong med/surg background with NIHSS,
ACLS certification, and some stepdown experience will be
considered. Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system.
Current RN licensure with up-to-date Nursys verification. Complete
professional profile including work history with no gaps over 60
days, skills checklist, references, and certification cards.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance with
badge-appropriate photo. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver
high-quality nursing care to neuro stepdown patients, monitoring
neurological status closely. Collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams to implement and adjust care plans. Utilize EPIC system
effectively for documentation and communication. Participate in
shift work including some weekends, without block scheduling.
