TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our dynamic team. Our facility is renowned for its patient-centered approach and a broad range of services including emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. This position requires a compassionate professional who is committed to exceptional patient care. You will work on an as-needed basis providing respiratory therapy, preventive and acute care services, and patient education tailored to the needs of a diverse patient population. Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders and other cardiopulmonary issues. Administer and manage ventilator support for critically ill patients. Conduct pulmonary function tests and provide results analysis. Educate patients and their families on lung health and disease management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive treatment plans. Maintain patient records and document therapy outcomes. Deep knowledge of respiratory care procedures and protocols Proficient in the use of respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems Ability to conduct and interpret pulmonary function tests Strong communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of Tennessee Current BLS certification, ACLS preferred
