Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and
knowledgeable Coronary ICU Nurse to join our expert team of
cardiovascular care professionals in Nashville, Tennessee. This
role is critical in providing exceptional care to patients with
severe cardiac conditions in our state-of-the-art intensive care
unit. As a Coronary ICU Nurse, you will have the opportunity to
work alongside leading physicians and surgeons, utilizing the
latest in medical technologies and treatments. This position
requires a deep understanding of cardiac care, patient management
in critical conditions, and the ability to work seamlessly in a
high-stress environment. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing
care to patients in the coronary intensive care unit Monitor
patient vital signs, administer medications, and communicate
patient status to the care team Collaborate with cardiologists and
other healthcare professionals to implement effective treatment
plans Support patient families by communicating ongoing care and
condition updates Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to
review and optimize patient care plans Maintain up-to-date
knowledge of advances in cardiac care and ICU practices Advanced
knowledge of cardiac care and life support Proficiency in using ICU
medical equipment Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
Compassionate patient care with a focus on quality and safety

401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of
Tennessee Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is
preferred
