This role focuses on providing specialized nursing care for patients suffering from neurological and spinal disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and acute care, demonstrating a commitment to patient care excellence and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with neurological and spinal disorders. Assess patient condition, administer medications, and monitor neuro vitals. Collaborate with neurologists and surgeons during treatments and surgeries. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and preventative care measures. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong clinical skills in a neurology or acute care setting Ability to perform detailed assessments and administer appropriate interventions Skilled in the use of medical software and patient management systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
