be considered. Provide expert nursing care in a step-down unit
focused on cardiac patients at a well-equipped medical center in
Clanton, AL. This contract opportunity offers a chance to support a
dedicated team managing complex heart disease cases in a 14-bed
facility. Responsibilities include: Deliver comprehensive patient
care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Monitor and assess
patients with cardiac conditions using critical skills such as BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS. Utilize Epic for accurate charting and
documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure
high-quality patient outcomes. Float to similar units within the
float pool as needed. Adhere to vaccination policies, with medical
and religious exemptions available. Required Qualifications:
Current RN licensure with step-down unit experience. Certification
in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Familiarity with
cardiac care and heart disease management. Proficiency with Epic
electronic medical records. Ability to work every other weekend and
float within skilled units. Work Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
from 1845 to 0715. Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week. Start
