ICU/Critical Care RN in Birmingham, Alabama, 35209! Job Title: ICU
RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum years of experience required License: Nursing License
required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Experience
with stroke, complex post-operative surgical cases, respiratory
distress, and COVID Description: This position requires a dedicated
registered nurse for the intensive care unit. The nurse will manage
critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse to
patient ratio is 2-1. Charting will be done using Cerner. The
position requires rotating weekends, every other weekend. Float
requirements may include working in critical care as needed. The
nurse should be proficient in the care of complex post-operative
surgical cases and stroke management. Special procedures may
include external ventricular drainage (EVD) management. This role
demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively
