Job Description Job Description Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a strong clinical department within a respected facility known for its caring atmosphere and dedication to quality resident care. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations and overall clinical leadership. Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure excellent resident outcomes. Support staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain survey readiness and compliance with CMS, DOH, and state/federal regulations. Participate in quality assurance, infection prevention, and process improvement initiatives. Foster collaboration across interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care. Step in for the DON as needed to ensure smooth department operations. Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio (required). Previous experience as an ADON, Unit Manager, or Nursing Supervisor in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
