Overview Respiratory Care involves applying the principles, techniques, and theories of cardiopulmonary medicine, guided by the verbal or written orders of a licensed physician, and under the oversight of a qualified medical director. Position Details: Qualifications Education: Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program recognized by the AMA. Licensure: A current temporary or permanent license (LRCP) from the relevant state is required. Experience: A solid understanding of all Respiratory Care procedures and modalities, including Critical Care and Blood Gas analysis, is essential. Certifications: Candidates should be eligible for or have successfully completed the Certification (CRT) exam administered by the NBRC. Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association is also necessary. Other: Proficiency in using computers within a healthcare setting is required. Preferred Qualifications Education: Additional college coursework or an Associate’s Degree is advantageous. Licensure: Preferred licensure details may apply. Experience: Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Certifications: NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications are desirable. Other: Advanced computer skills and the ability to operate computerized equipment and patient care applications are preferred. Why Join Us?
