Position Overview: RN Night Supervisor (Every Weekend) The RN Night Supervisor provides clinical leadership and oversight during overnight weekend shifts. This role is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and serving as a trusted leader during night operations. The RN Night Supervisor acts as a key liaison between residents, families, on-call providers, and facility leadership. ? Key Responsibilities of the RN Night Supervisor: Provide clinical leadership and supervision for nursing staff during overnight weekend shifts Oversee day-to-day resident care operations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance Supervise, direct, and support nursing staff to maintain performance and accountability Ensure units comply with federal and state regulations and facility policies and procedures Support quality assurance, infection control, and utilization review activities during night operations Receive, communicate, and implement physician orders as needed Oversee delegation of nursing and therapeutic procedures to licensed and unlicensed staff Conduct regular patient rounds to assess resident conditions, evaluate quality of care, and ensure accurate documentation Serve as the on-site nursing leader and liaison during overnight weekend hours Qualifications for the RN Night Supervisor: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills Ability to read reports, analyze data, and utilize information accurately Ability to work independently and confidently during overnight hours Professional, dependable, and approachable leadership style Why Join Our Night Leadership Team?
