day shift. Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM. On-call rotation
required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the

them recover. We are seeking a Biomedical Engineering Technician II
to: Diagnose and perform repairs on medical equipment in both shop
and critical care settings—including operating rooms, trauma units,
emergency rooms, and other patient care areas—ensuring timely
service to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of all
maintenance activities performed on assigned medical equipment and
promptly update the department database with complete service
documentation. Apply strong attention to detail to identify
opportunities for process improvement and implement effective
solutions. Leverage collaborative skills to prioritize tasks within
a team environment while successfully managing independent

Biomedical Engineering, or related field Required Two (2) years of
related experience would be considered in lieu of degree in
addition to experience below Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical
Engineering Preferred Work Experience 1 year experience working
with biomedical, electrical, electronics, IT, or mechanical
equipment Required 2 years previous experience as Biomedical
Engineering Technician or electronics related technical field
experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s
license in the person’s state of residence • Must be 21 years of
age or have three (3) years of driving experience to operate a
Patient/Visitor Vehicle or UW Health Vehicle other than a golf cart
or utility terrain vehicle Upon Hire Required OEM or computer
