Nurse Resident for a nursing job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job

Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: \n 90-100%
FTE, 36-40 hours per week. 8-hour day shifts scheduled Monday
through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Hours may
vary based on the operational needs of the department. \n Pay: \n

1 hospital in Wisconsin! \n We are seeking an Ambulatory Nurse
Resident to: \n \n Join our prestigious 12-month program which is
designed to help new graduate nurses move confidently into practice
following graduation from an accredited nursing program. \n
Experience an orientation designed specifically for new to practice
nurses which includes mentoring by preceptors and clinical nurse
specialists. \n Participate in twice-monthly nurse resident classes
with their cohort. You will meet with clinical experts and
problem-solve clinical challenges and learn more about resources to
support your practice. \n Ambulatory Nursing includes working
within an interdisciplinary team during all stages of patient care:
wellness, prevention, acute and chronic illness to end-of-life. \n
Ambulatory Nursing responsibilities include telephone triage,
growing telehealth opportunities, medication administration,
treatments, testing, patient/family education and assuring a plan
of care for high volumes of patients. A high degree of independence
and critical thinking are crucial to the role. \n \n The
Post-Baccalaureate Nurse Residency Program at UW Health is part of
a national initiative developed by the American Association of
Colleges of Nursing and Vizient and is one of 40 Nurse Residency
Programs accredited through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing
Education (CCNE) in the United States. \n Please note: Nurse

Nursing (ADN), Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN or BAN) or Master

within the previous 12 months. \n Licenses and Certifications: \n
Minimum – Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
Current CPR/BLS Certification upon hire. Additional lifesaving
