    Who's hiring you ask? A global leader in the Automotive & Manufacturing industry looking to hire on an experienced EHS Speciliast at their plant in Lawrenceburg, TN. Must have 5 years of EHS experience in a comparable industry. Experts like you will receive full benefits and work with the world's best and brightest! Overview:The Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for providing, health, safety and environmental guidance throughout the Plasman operations. This position is also responsible for working with the corporate EHS Manager, plant HR Managers/ Coordinators and plant management to ensure compliance, implement good manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, and EHS as a value-added part of the overall business. This position reports directly to the onsite General Manager and indirectly to the Corporate EHS Manager.

    salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

    Responsibilities
    Establish compliance with local & federal legislation/regulations, internal policies
    Implement EHS Programs including the minimum standards of performance, measurement systems, training, performance evaluation systems & use of best practices
    Technical & regulatory assistance to operations
    Certified Management member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee
    State and federal environmental reporting
    Representative for security for all on-site company activities
    Ergonomics specialist/coordinate ergonomics program
    Representative for/Compliance of ISO 14001
    Ensure personal & associate awareness & understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 (includes ISO 9001) Standards
    In Audit events-provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards & procedures, and participate in corrective actions
    Ensure that sufficient safety resources are available
    Directs supervisors in maintaining positive employee relations & safe work environment
    Safety and environmental training & understand all job tasks
