May administer medication. Documents patient care given.Assists RN with development of plan of care.Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions to the RN, physician, patient, and families.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Perform other duties as assigned.Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service, projects and committees as assigned.Adheres to and supports policies and procedures of the STRHS.Works scheduled shifts including overtime, when necessary.Accepts all call schedule as directed. Maintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance to the existing dress code.Reports to the Director of OB/Labor Delivery.
