Come to lovely Florence, AL which is nestled neatly in the Northwest corner of Alabama. We are located directly on the Tennessee River and the area offers unique access to great music, outdoor experiences and great small town flavor. We are within 2 hours of Huntsville, Nashville, and Birmingham so you can still get your fill of city life if needed!We are looking for an independent, focused veterinary technician to work at our local veterinary emergency hospital. License is not required but previous animal care experience will be needed. The position will be responsible for fielding calls, invoicing clients, direct communication/history gathering from clients, collection of TPR, veinipuncture, setting up laboratory tests, and medication administration. On the job training can be utilized to assist in any areas that the applicant may not be comfortable completing.We are open Monday thru Thursday 6 PM to 6 AM and Friday 6 PM thru Monday 6 AM on the weekends. We are also open on the holidays. We offer flexible scheduling including 8 and 12 hour shifts.Job Type: Full-timePay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:
