Job Description:

A mental health facility in Alabama is seeking a child/adolescent psychiatrist to join their team due to growth. This position is full time and outpatient-only. Evaluations are typically scheduled for 1 hour, and medication monitoring appointments are scheduled for 15 or 30 minutes resulting in an average of 20 patients seen per day. Come join 4 psychiatrists and 5 psychiatric NPs. The typical workweek will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a shard call. On-call includes coverage for both adults and children, and requires the physician to be available by telephone. Applicants are required to be board certified, or board eligible with a child/adolescent fellowship. 2020 and 2021 fellows are welcomed. This employed opportunity has a competitive salary.
