together in a unique way. The Hotel Manager will strive to provide
exceptional service to both internal and external guests. They will
serve as the primary contact responsible for the successful
day-to-day operation of key departments, including Rooms, Guest
Services, Spa, and Retail.Responsibilities
- Instill a calm, organized approach when interacting in
stressful situations; approach guest opportunities with care and
urgency; provide prompt follow-up to ensure 100% guest
satisfaction.
- Serve as the property champion in driving guest satisfaction
through internal and external reporting.
- Act as a property Executive Leader.
- Develop and drive Forbes standards in conjunction with People &
Culture.
- Control expenses and manage labor according to business
demands, demonstrating a strong grasp of P&L.
- Foster positive relationships with team members across all
departments through effective communication and collaboration.
- Recruit, hire, train, and support talent for all team
members.
- Formulate and administer company policies; coordinate
department activities to develop and implement long-term goals for
growth.
- Review activity, costs, operations, and forecast data to assess
progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with directors and department heads to review
achievements and adjust goals as needed.
- Develop and implement guest experience strategies, including
new products and services.
- Oversee productivity and operating reports, resolving issues to
minimize financial impact and operational delays.
- Coordinate with department managers to ensure sufficient
staffing for daily demands.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow proper
data security protocols.
- Operate as manager on duty when necessary.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings to ensure smooth guest
experiences across high-impact areas.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, and
holidays.Skills and Experience
- Senior leadership experience managing Rooms Division in a
luxury resort environment.
- Progressive career growth with a record of exceptional
performance.
- Ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize
effectively.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication, networking,
and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong team leadership skills.
- Physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
- Willingness to perform any reasonable task assigned by
