Construction Project Site Manager Purpose Construction Project Site Manager Under the general direction of the Construction Operations Manager, the Construction Project / Site Manager will provide effective leadership in promoting and articulating the mission of IST, LLC and the Project Stake Holders. The Construction Project / Site Manager has overall responsibility for the successful completion of all of the project's scope of work. Duties Include: Major Duties & Responsibilities Manage the RFP & Estimating Process for Bids within the Business Unit Attend all Bid Meetings and Project Meetings for the Business Unit Provide supervision to all specific scopes of work of the project Check submittals / detailing for accurate installation Ensure that all materials are install per approved submittals Initiate RFI's under the direction of the Project Manager Manage project set up with the Management Team Manage all project inspections and the project punch-list process Manage the QAQC checklist under the direction of the Project Manager (QCM Certification required) Participation in business development as needed Responsible for day-to-day construction, instruction and Scheduling and managing submittals and coordinating the delivery of equipment, materials, and supplies, Completing Daily Reports for work progress and site safety Perform Site Safety Officer day-to-day duties and responsibilities (30 OSHA required) Documenting work performed, description and location of work, weather conditions, test performed, instructions given by the Government representative, and any work delays and the reasons for such delays on the Daily Report Maintaining constant vigilance on subcontractors and employees' utilization of personal protective equipment, Enforcing disciplinary action for anyone who fails to follow proper safety procedures, Briefing suppliers on proper safety procedures and following up to ensure compliance, Informing all workers of the location and means of transportation to the nearest medical facility, Reporting unsafe condition, promptly reporting all accidents as the on-site Site Safety Officer Instructing all workers of the acceptable level of workmanship required in this CQC plan in order to meet contract specifications (Three Phase Process) Ensuring that all supplies and fuels are properly stored, Conducting weekly tool-box safety meetings for all employees on the job site, Making sure emergency telephone numbers are available and known to each employee at each work Post information in Spanish as well as English. Job Skills & Abilities Four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (equivalent to ten years of commercial construction experience) Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products Ability to learn and utilize Prolog, Procore and Bluebeam Ability to learn and utilize P6 Scheduling Willing to learn & understand construction industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Good math/accounting skills Functions effectively as part of a team Dependability Have a Truck or SUV with up to date registration and insurance PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Tennessee and parts of Kentucky ABOUT IST Information Security and Training, LLC (IST) is a small business headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama.
