The successful candidate has high standards, great peopleskills and a passion for Hospitality. Everyone Sells - The General Manager will assist in selling thehotel from Sales Calls to Site visits. The GM not only assists in the oversight and engagement of theSales Team but actively calls on clients and assists in the selling process. We expect our GM to have a strong personal relationship withthe Chamber of Commerce and other Civic organizations connected with thecommunity. We consider the GM the CHIEF SALES OFFICER and will be astrong contributor to the success of the operation from a sales perspective. Can you create a strong vision that instills superior sales& customer service throughout the hotel? We are looking for someone who is able to set and communicatehigh standards and has a strong people orientation which engages and binds theteam together for service delivery that is second to none. Do you have the ability to implement systems and processesthat significantly and continually improve sales and operational performance? Accountability - The training and follow up of team membersensuring that their job is done properly and that they have the necessary toolsto perform superior work. Achieving goals, hitting targeted due dates and deadlines area must for this position. The successful candidate will anticipate and develop strongresponse to customer needs; brings the team along to create a customer serviceexperience that drives repeat business. Follows through on commitments to customers and team members;leads by example so that the staff models leadership behavior. We want this hotel to lead the market in customer service andgracious, warm hospitality that keeps repeat customers loyal. In this role, you will assist in the development,recommendation, implementation, and manage the hotel's annual budget andlong-term business plan, sales and marketing plans. The candidate will possess the ability to control expenses andto seek new business to ensure budgeted goals of profitability are met orexceeded. We handle loading your rates and have Revenue Managers to helpyou grow RevPar to be the market leader.
