Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Principal / Sr. Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL. Position Overview: The selected Principal / Sr. Principal Logistics Management Analyst will support the Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) Program; and will provide provisioning for NGC programs that will help to ensure the provisioning requirements are being addressed and accomplished. The selected candidate will work with other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) personnel, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, Technical Publications teams, and Government Provisioner's to develop logistics Product Data (LPD). The desired candidate will understand the various aspects of provisioning, engineering technical drawings, and maintenance concepts in order to support the ILS team. Essential Functions: Research and understand engineering changes to determine impact to system provisioning documentation.
Developing and integrating supportability analysis databases based on GEIA-STD 0007.
Collect and prepare screening data for submission to the Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS).
Read and interpret engineering drawings for logistics product development.
Develop Repair Parts Special Tools List (RPSTL) technical manuals.
Communicate openly and effectively with teammates and customer representatives. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. Basic Qualifications: This requisition may be filled at either a Principal / Sr. Principal Logistics Management Analyst level. BQs for a Principal Logistics Management Analyst are: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 6 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 4 years of related experience, or 10 years of related Logistics Management Analyst experience in lieu of a degree.
In depth knowledge of Logistics Product Development (LPD).
Understanding of logistic elements; supportability, maintainability and logistics support.
Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, concepts, and methodologies.
Knowledge of military supply and maintenance procedures.
Understanding of initial spares/repair parts development.
Extensive experienced with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel to other Northrop Grumman and customer locations (20%).
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required to start. BQs for a Sr. Principal Logistics Management Analyst are: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 10 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 8 years of related experience, or 14 years of related Logistics Management Analyst experience in lieu of a degree.
In depth knowledge of Logistics Product Development (LPD).
Understanding of logistic elements; supportability, maintainability and logistics support.
Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, concepts, and methodologies.
Knowledge of military supply and maintenance procedures.

A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required to start. Preferred Qualifications: Military electronic system maintenance experience with Field and Sustainment Maintenance concepts.
Familiar with parts information tools and parts data research
Similar 1388-2B formatted database are acceptable such as SLIC, EAGLE, MICAPS, etc.
Experience with PowerLog-J and provisioning elements of the database.
Knowledge of and development of PowerLog-J output reports.
Experience working with military ground systems and hardware integrated platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and customer personnel.
Strong understanding of Systems Acquisition, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Supportability Analysis (SA), and the Provisioning processes.
Experience leading provisioning development efforts
Experience with Missile Defense Systems.
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance. Salary Range: $69,120 USD - $103,680 USD
Salary Range 2: $85,680 USD - $128,520 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
