Business Insurance Account Manager - Small Business Unit -The main goal and function of the Small Business Unit Business Insurance Account Manager is to support the production team in the production and service of new and existing accounts. - This responsibility includes customer service and all related functions of support for the Business Insurance book of business to which they are assigned. This will be a hybrid role where you will help support the Small Business Unit and another Producer on mostly small business, generalist accounts. Your goals. Your ambitions. We will count on you to:Manage and grow the existing Select/Small Commercial Lines Business Unit book of businessDevelop successful relationships and work directly with clientsEnsure clients are provided the best service, coverage, and pricingEncourage account rounding, when applicableMonitor and collect aged receivables and insurance company direct billingAssist the team in marketing of new and renewal businessCorrespond with clients, prospects, and carriersUtilize agency management, imaging systems, client data agency system, and carrier interface to service clients and process according to agency standardsInvestigate all accounting discrepancies and correct accordinglyProcess incoming requests for insurance changes from customers and additional information from the carriers as received What you need to have: -2+ years insurance experience in an agency or brokerage environmentProficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelMust learn the agency management and imaging systemsMust have Resident State Agents License (Property & Casualty) or obtain within 90 days of employment What makes you stand out:Current Property & Casualty licenseIndependent decision maker with motivation and enthusiasm Excellent written and verbal communicationsMulti-tasked and detail oriented What is in it for you?
