Job Description:


The job holder organizes within the plant that customers and internal departments are supplied in the right quality and just in time. They are responsible for disposal and organization of internal transfer of parts in course of the pre-series. They look at quantity- and quality specification.


  • Determination of requirements based on customer request for pre-series/pilot run, functional parts as well as internal requirements of the specialized departments
  • Ordering injection molding parts and bought-in parts from internal contacts
  • Monitoring delivery dates internally and externally
  • Commissioning parts dispatch with shipping instructions (for the preparation of TLL by ENG, Q-evidence by QVV with central depot in PPD-Tool)
  • Deadline with internal administrators, customers on the basis of the Q-standard list history of parts ENG and inform the appropriate employees
  • Deadline and cost monitoring of the pre-series parts on the basis of delivery lists and associated budgets in cooperation with BWK and the respective sales office and ENG
  • Supporting of the preparation for the initial inspection
  • Production of first parts (pre-series) together with the plant until milestone 60 under responsibility start-up coordinator. After M60 under responsibility of the plant.
  • General coordination of plant-internal processes (article numbers, storage transfers, painting trials, "run and rate" etc.) in the pre - series
  • Member of Task Force if there are start-up problems
  • Organization of warehouse management on the basis of communicated quantity- and quality specifications in the pre-series
  • Updating of the stock in the pre-series
  • Information about potentials/defects from the pre-series to responsible project team members (specialized department)

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field of study OR the equivalent combination of education and/or years of relevant working experience.
    • Co-Op/internship or up to two (2) years professional experience in Automotive Engineering.

      • Microsoft Office Suites Proficiency

        • Capability and experience to teach and mentor others, supporting the development of technical skills for other Team Members.
        • Working knowledge of automotive development and supplier quality processes.

            • Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
            • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

                • Assignment Start: ASAP
                • Assignment End: 6 months
