This leadership role will be located in either Roy, Utah or Huntsville, Alabama and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do: -Candidate will be part of the Nuclear Surety team and responsible delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support achieving on-time Nuclear Certification of the GBSD Weapon System. -The position requires experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS). - Candidate must also be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. - A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired.Additional responsibilities include:Perform Program Manager responsibilities and oversight of the Nuclear Surety SuppliersDrive execution of the Nuclear Surety Scope of WorkDevelop and adhere to master plans and schedulesIdentify, allocate and manage program resources, including workforce planning -Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools -Identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risksEnsure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activities -Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards -Deliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholdersAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:- Medical, Dental & Vision coverage- 401k- Educational Assistance- Life Insurance- Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions- Paid Time Off- Health & Wellness Resources- Employee DiscountsThese positions will have a standard work schedule of 9/80.
