POSITION OBJECTIVES: Reporting to the Head of Global Talent Management, this role is responsible for key elements of the Talent Management strategy and delivery. Including implementation and ongoing innovation of key processes related to performance management and enabling mobility strategies across the organization. This work will equip our people and managers with tools and frameworks they need to be successful in a purposeful performance-driven culture. This person will operate as part of a COEI Talent Management team that develops and deploys innovative strategies, tools and processes that enable our employees to deliver peak performance; and drive initiatives that enable employees to have a successful and engaging careers at Takeda. In partnership with our team and HR colleagues, this person will be responsible for evolving our enterprise-wide Performance Culture and Practices, including new ways to elevate employee engagement and career development. The work performed through our Global Talent Management team will directly enhance Takeda's abilities to assess, motivate, develop and retain our most important assets, our people. This role requires a heavy concentration in change management with an eye on evolving our practices over time and an ability to collaborate effectively with HR partners and stakeholders globally leading to a great people experience and the best global outcomes. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Initial responsibilities include t he areas of Performance Culture and Practices. This role will steward the rollout of our new performance philosophy, tools and framework with a focus on how this work evolves over time. This role will also lead various strategic initiatives across the Talent Management COEI. This role plays a key part in the COEI function and will be an active team member as we shape this function over time. Partnering with the Talent Management Team and HR Partners

• Implement and expand our performance management processes including effective goal setting, ongoing quality conversations as well as descriptive assessments.--
• Expand thinking and approach to include effective development and action planning.
• Make meaningful connections to other aspects of the Talent Management work include Leadership Behaviors.
• Help connect performance practices to high potential identification and global development programs.
• Ensure integration of a diversity, inclusion and engagement lens into relevant processes and frameworks.
• Help drive adoption and implementation of overall talent management solutions.
• Leverage data and people insights to drive recommendations and decision making.
• Collaborate and build buy-in for new approaches, and recommendations that will evolve over time.
• Works with the team and HR partners to generate insights, identify opportunities and plan for the future.
• Play an active role in building and evolving the cross company Talent Management Community of Practice.-- EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience within HR focused roles with increasing responsibility in Talent Management/LD/OC. HR Business Partner experience a plus
  • Proven ability and experience in effectively interacting with and influencing senior level HR and business leaders to establish trust and credibility
  • Strong experience in working in a complex environment
  • Strong experience and influencing skills in a matrix organization
  • Strong collaboration skills are required
  • Strong business acumen and an eye for continuous improvement
  • Some experience in the design and delivery of talent and organizational strategies and initiatives, assessment and development tools and methodologies.--
  • Inspires commitment through a wide range of communication channels (meetings, writing, presentations).
  • Acts as a vocal and visible advocate for key initiatives, influencing others and working to build buy-in and support across our HR constituents
