Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
        Supports the implementation of the Renew 2018-2021 market strategic and financial plan to achieve budgeted volume--targets. Supports the Executive Team and System Presidents/Leaders on the development and execution of strategic--initiatives to increase surgical growth and procedural volumes across various services lines within CHI Saint Joseph Health.--Provides information, recommendations and consultation to ensure increased volumes and enhanced physician--relationships in compliance with all regulatory standards, applicable laws and CHI/SJHpolicies.--Must be able to clearly construct and articulate strategic growth and development recommendations and manage the--implementation of growth initiatives and other related projects. Assist to stabilize and secure current volumes - all--specialties - bridge physician relationships with CHI SJH. Participate in ASC Growth Team. Identify other opportunities and--provide strategies for additional ASC's for CHISJH. Provide orthopedic strategies - Identify, recruit and support the--development and growth of an Orthopedic Service Line. Identify and recruit new physician specialists that will increase--inpatient and outpatient case volumes and revenues.

        1. Works with facility leadership and Market executive team to meet budgeted volume targets and achieve strategic initiatives. Leads projects as requested.
        2. Coordinates and integrates inter- and intra-departmental services. Participates in MBO-wide--committees; communicates pertinent information to staff and administration; attends other scheduled--meetings. Actively works to break down barriers to team work and communication to build strong--relationships with and between facility and system leaders.
        3. Develops strategic business plans for new or expanded services, coordinates with CHISJH capital--management committee to review, recommend and investigate capital requests, and assists the facility--presidents/senior leaders as requested for implementation planning.
        4. Supports clinical service and ancillary service leaders to expand services, attract new providers and--grow departmental volume.
        5. Assists with preparation for and participation in monthly PEC/PTRC meetings as requested.
        6. Works with VP Strategy, executive and facility leaders, and physicians to evaluate and develop strategic--business opportunities for CHISJH.
        7. Is accountable for and demonstrates leadership with the services in the department including--compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and accrediting bodies.
        8. Is accountable and demonstrates leadership/management of the department's financial resources.
        9. Is accountable for creating annual departmental unit goals related to growth.
        10. Creates a culture that promotes clinical patient safety. Participates in achieving and maintain National--Patient Safety Goals.
        11. Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety Goals; contributes to improving--clinical patient safety.
        12. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
        Required EducationRequired Bachelor's Degree in related--discipline; Master's Degree strongly preferred
        Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMinimum of 10 years operational experience in healthcare - surgical services experience preferred.
