Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Provide input and recommendations to develop, compile, review, and document ASE system studies, decision/information papers, program plans and program baseline documents to support Milestone/budgetary decisions. Applying the DOD systems engineering process throughout the system life cycle or development of new products and/or existing system products. Provide technical input for space, weight, and power (SWaP) changes for future ASE on rotary and fixed wing aircrafts. Support the analysis, development, and integration of existing and/or emerging system technologies (including countermeasures, sensors, bus interfaces, embedded computer hardware/software, and embedded diagnostics) into suitable ASE systems and/or subsystems. Develop/review technical documents related to aircraft integration, interface control, and airworthiness qualifications for the survivability systems. Provide input future ASE Aircraft Integration tasks to include schedule projections, estimated costs, and technical input related to Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) on both rotary and fixed wing Army aircraft. Perform analysis of hardware using test data, simulation data, and/or digital systems models to identify root causes of issues or system failures. Understanding of Army airworthiness requirement and processes. 10 years of relevant experience in major defense acquisition programs. Qualifications Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA in an engineering discipline or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD in engineering discipline. Options
