Manufacturing Engineer - Secret Clearance Required with Security Clearance

MartinFederal is looking for a lead Manufacturing Engineer to take part in a fabrication project supporting the DoD. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, documenting, and executing manufacturing and integration processes for fabricated and machined components and complex hydraulic systems. Applicant will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team building DoD and aerospace hardware. Candidate will perform tasks such as reviewing and approving engineering drawings, creating manufacturing bills of materials, and developing process plans and work instructions. Candidate will be required to work closely with engineering design, quality control, and manufacturing personnel. Basic Qualifications : -- BS degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering from an accredited university and at least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience including at least 3 years--- experience supporting DoD or aerospace programs. An Associate degree and 10 years of applicable experience in lieu of BS degree will be considered. -- Must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, CAD models and other engineering design data. Must have experience building complex mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems. -- Must be able to accurately develop labor cost estimates to support proposal efforts. -- Experience with Epicor Material Planning software and Agile PLM software is a plus. Nice to Have: -Experience developing work instructions -Experience working or supporting large hydraulic systems -Any experience with or around metal fabrication/welding will be helpful -Systems Integration experience is a plus -Any experience with manufacturing military vehicles Security Requirements : Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
