Modeling and Drafting Technician The Opportunity: Develop detailed design specifications for products and structures and specify dimensions, materials, and specifications. Understand the role and apply knowledge of program or project requirements, policies , and procedures. Perform moderately difficult support tasks with minimal supervision and follow general instruction. Work with design engineers to create and modify 3D models, manage large assemblies to aid in design in context, and create detailed engineering component and assembly drawings. Join us. You Have: 2 years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting in a professional environment Experience with ASME Y14.5 Ability to obtain a Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: 5 years of experience with 3D modeling and drafting with SolidWorks in a professional environment Experience with Source Controlled Drawings Experience with electrical and pipe routings Experience with P&ID Drawings Experience with AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor Associate's degree in engineering or technology preferred; Bachelor’s engineering or technology a plus ASME Y14.5 Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
