are seeking CNC Machinists to set up, operate, and monitor CNC
equipment to machine ductile iron components with precision and
consistency, while maintaining a strong focus on safety for

start at $24.24 per hour , plus applicable shift differential. We

(5) vacation days after six (6) months of continuous employment.

Description General Duties and Responsibilities Promote and uphold
The McWane Way principles, values, and behaviors. Adhere to safety
protocols outline in the Tyler Union Safety Management Program.
Assist supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy
work environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
(PPE). Follow ergonomic and safe lifting techniques. Perform daily
equipment inspections and report any issues. Job Specific Duties
and Responsibilities ( Other duties may be assigned.) Follow
Supervisor/Team Lead instructions for setups and tooling. Conduct
pre-shift inspections, start machines, and perform first part
inspections. Learn and follow all the work instructions. Measure
dimensions of finished workpieces using precision instruments.
Operate machines efficiently and safely. Mount, install, align, and
secure tools and fixtures under supervision. Make minor fixture
adjustments under supervision. Stop machines to remove finished
workpieces or change tooling/setup. Ensure proper lubrication and
cooling of workpieces. Verify and record first part inspections.
Insert control instructions into machine control units. Listen for
issues during operations and make adjustments. Replace dull cutting
tools. Maintain a neat and orderly workstation. Qualifications To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

Education and/or Experience Preferred: Associates degree in a
technical field or training in a vocational school. Required: High
school diploma or GED. Consideration: One-years’ experience within
the division as a driller or pattern rigger. Computer Skills:
Possess and use basic computer skills. Mastery: Ability to
calibrate and read precision measuring devices. Working knowledge
of mills and lathes tooling. Skills Knowledge: Mechanical;
mathematics; design; computers and electronics; engineering and
technology; and production and processing. Skills: Operation
monitoring; monitoring; critical thinking; quality control
analysis; operation and control; complex problem solving; reading
comprehension; active listening; judgment and decision making; and
time management. Abilities: required to perform this job include
near vision; arm-hand steadiness; hearing sensitivity; problem
sensitivity; reaction time; auditory attention; information
ordering; control precision; and rate control. Work activities:
Controlling machines and processes; getting information;
communicating with supervisors and peers; making decisions and
solving problems; inspecting equipment, structures, and materials;
handling and moving objects; identifying objects, actions, and
events; monitoring processes, materials, and surroundings; updating
and using relevant knowledge; and interacting with computers.
Additional Information Physical & Cognitive Abilities Frequent
standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Manual dexterity and
multi-limb coordination. Making fine adjustments to machines and
setups. Aligning tools and parts accurately. Performing repetitive
tasks without loss of focus. Strength and stamina for lifting 50
