Job Description Machinery Mechanic Automation Personnel Services
is looking for Machinery M echanic for a steel manufacturer based
in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for
performing an array of duties such as assembling component parts,
refurbishing machinery. Pay Rate $19.00 or more per hour based on
experience Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00am to
3:30pm Overtime is available daily Machinery Mechanic Duties and
Responsibilities • Assemble component parts either sub-assemblies
or completed units. This will include electronic,
electro-mechanical, mechanical, structural, and plastic parts. •
Use hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment to
tear down and rebuild various machinery for shipment. • Work in hot
or cold temperatures. • Closely follow safety regulations and
guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal
protective equipment. Machinery Mechanic Qualifications and
Requirements • High school diploma or GED • Background check, drug
screen, and clean driving record are required. • Must be able to
stand 8,10, or 12 hours. • Physical strength and stamina to lift
and move heavy loads safely and efficiently • Proficient is use of
various hand tools • Must wear arm guards, hard hats, steel toes
and safety glasses Job Type Full-time, temporary to hire Benefits •
