Good organizational skills are necessary for to take charge of organizing inventory and improving the efficiency of the selection and shipping process. The ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner is important in this position. Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial for negotiating contracts, interviewing new vendors, educating warehouse employees and developing new inventory processes. Inventory Specialists need problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems. Basic Qualifications: -Basic computer skills -Knowledge of inventory software (SAP) -Cycle counts -Warehouse/ stockroom experience Desired Skills: -Forklift certification -Flight material handling experience. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
