Job Title: RF Engineer
Job Location: Huntsville, AL

The primary focus will be analyzing and providing solutions for RF related issues on the SLS program. Ensuring sensor performance meets requirements.

Major Job Responsibilities:
-Support testing activities and analysis efforts for validation of test requirements of RF systems.
-Experience with routing RF signals from space systems to ground systems.
-Experience with routing RF signals from ground systems to space systems.
-Extensive knowledge of Antennas theory and antenna types.
-Trade-off evaluations of different types of RF components to optimize system performance. Knowledge of RF manufacturing and installation.
-Support for the development of requirements and verification artifacts through Critical Design Review. Support of engineering document release to the program through the change process and release workflow.

Required:
-B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Other STEM field.
-5 or more years of experience working with RF systems as defined above.

Desired:
-Familiarity with NASA programs and tools (APDM, IPCL, DOORs).
-Experience with Python/Matlab programming
-Experience with Microsoft Office too

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. A secret clearance is not required; however, candidate must be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time 40-hour week Monday through Friday position located in Huntsville, AL. Some travel may be required.
