This position is in Huntsville, AL and supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Final grade level offered will be based on candidate level of experience.What You'll Get To Do:The successful candidate for this position will design and implement DevSecOps software factories along with the supporting software infrastructure. The candidate will develop and maintain automation pipelines, baseline operating systems, and virtualized & containerized environments. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.Job Qualifications:You'll Bring These Qualifications:US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certificationPrincipal Engineer DevOps: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhDSr Principal Engineer DevOps: 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. 7 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.Ability to automate software builds and releasesExperience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible TowerExperience with build tools (i.e., Maven, Ant, GNU make) and/or continuous integration environments (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo) and/or repositories (i.e., Nexus, JFROG)Experience with Windows and Linux/Unix administrationExperience with virtualization (i.e., VMWare)Prior experience with Kubernetes implementation and Day 2 OperationsIAT Level II certification (e.g., Security + CE) or ability to obtain within 6 monthsThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Previous experience developing and implementing CI/CD PipelinesProficiency with Linux and Linux based software development toolsExperience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Chef or equivalentExperience with source code configuration management tools (i.e., git)Experience with HashiCorp Packer and VaultExperience with NexusExperience with Terraform, vCenter, vSphere, or similar Virtual ProvisioningExperience with build tools such as Gradle and BezelExperience with Jira/Confluence in an Agile environmentFamiliarity with scripting languages (i.e., PERL, Python, Bash, YAML)#GBSDSoftwareSalary Range: $95,100 USD - $142,700 USDSalary Range 2: $117,900 USD - $176,900 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
