We are seeking an Aerospace Engineer that thrives in a fast-paced environment to provide direct support to our government customer. In this rapidly changing environment, you will perform daily aerospace engineering functions including design, modeling, simulation, testing, risk identification/analysis/mitigation, trace ability, and then integrating the various components to produce a working prototype or model of the system. You will need to have project experience and provide high level knowledge of advanced aerospace engineering/scientific principles to access system requirements/performance specifications and develop appropriate solutions. You will utilize your knowledge of engineering principles and practices including aircraft structural design and analysis, test methods and data analysis. You will provide expertise of aircraft structural static and fatigue strength requirements, aerodynamics, stability and control, performance, and flight control systems. Solve in-service aircraft structural problems under trying and immediate circumstances. You will initiate, formulate, and establish requirements, guidelines, and contract addenda for developmental rotary wing aircraft to be embodied in technical criteria and documents governing aircraft. You will evaluate design proposals to existing air vehicles and participate in negotiations to ensure specific structural and test requirements are adequate and in compliance with performance requirements.

  Bachelor's degree in aerospace or comparable field.

  Minimum of 8 (eight) years.

  Knowledge of engineering principles and practices including aircraft structural design and analysis, test methods and data analysis.

  Excellent Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

  Some travel (30%)

  Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
