Overview
Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Boundary Protection Engineer -supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract -at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience

• Must have at least 7 years of general network experience with any of the following: -Palo Alto Firewalls, McAfee, Wildfire, and FireEye IPS/IDS, Blue Coat Proxy and SSL Decryptor, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Multicast, OSPF, BGP routing protocols, Solarwinds, and Cisco routers/switches
  
• Must have 1 year of experience working in a management or leadership role
  
• Must have a current DoD 8570 Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE or higher
  
• Must have, or obtain within 6 months, a current Palo Alto Networks (e.g. PCNSA or PCNSE) certification
  
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
  
• U.S. Citizenship required for all applicants

    EDUCATION: -High School Diploma (or GED)
    CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Must have a current DoD 8570 Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE or higher
      
    • Must have, or obtain within 6 months, a current Palo Alto Networks (e.g. PCNSA or PCNSE) certification
      
      EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Experienced (Non-Manager)
      OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: -

      • Have a current DoD IAT level III certification (such as CISSP or CASP)
        
      • Have a Palo Alto Networks (e.g. PCNSA or PCNSE) or Cisco CCNA Certification or higher
        
      • Be familiar with Remedy Action Request System
        
      • Have experience with Cisco routers/switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, McAfee, Wildfire, and FireEye IPS/IDS, Blue Coat Proxy and SSL Decryptor, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Multicast, OSPF, BGP routing protocols, Solarwinds
        
      • Have experience with IT Services Configuration Management processes
        
        -RESPONSIBILITIES: -
        
        • 
          
        • Support the 24x7x365 Network Operations Team.
          
        • Have primary duties that include design, operations, and maintenance of the MDA general service network infrastructure, primarily troubleshooting and managing configurations on network routers, switches, encryptors, proxies, and firewalls. -
          
        • Perform network and firewall engineering, monitoring and administration functions as required, provide initial analysis and troubleshooting on issues identified with network monitoring tools and provide troubleshooting support to end users on the network as well as other general networking tasks.
          
        • Have additional responsibilities that include: generate/provide status reports, provide network anomaly analysis, and develop engineering redlines as needed to support network maintenance actions, engineering changes/upgrades, and security vulnerabilities.
          
        • Respond to Remedy Incident Tickets, working with customers to resolve network communication issues.
          
        • Provide Test/Event support as needed.
          
        • Follow documented process and procedures and provide feedback to update as necessary.
          
        • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and willingness to learn new technologies.
          
        • Demonstrate proficiency in developing comprehensive and detailed drawings.
          
        • Be able to work well in a team environment, have good interpersonal skills, be a quick learner and have a positive, can-do attitude.
          
        • Be able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have good communication skills.
          
        • This position is primarily Day Shift. - May work off hours or on call as required.
