Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Patriot Advanced
Capability Missile Senior Engineer (Level 5) to join the Test
Equipment Engineering team in Huntsville, AL on the Patriot
Advanced Capability (PAC-3) missile-defense program. Boeing
Huntsville has multi-year contracts to develop, manufacture, and
test the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile seeker and
future improvements. These contracts are driving significant,
long-term growth for the PAC-3 engineering team on the Huntsville,
AL campus. Position Responsibilities Duties will include (but are
not limited to): Responsible for supporting the Test Equipment
engineering team with troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of 15
Thermal and Vibe chambers and over 130 various types of subsystem
electronics test stations used for testing of the next generation
Patriot Missile RADAR seeker and supporting production and special
test equipment design. The team will consist of multi-skilled
engineers (Mechanical, Electronic, SW, and Systems Engineers)
engaged in the detailed development tasks to create this next
generation complex electro-mechanical seeker and its associated
test and simulation equipment. Leads work with customers to develop
and document electronic and electrical system requirements on
complex multi-tiered projects Leads analysis and translation of
complex requirements into system architecture, hardware and
software designs and interface specifications Leads testing and
validation work on complex system designs to assure that
operational and functional requirements are met Works with other to
develop program test strategies Manages performance of critical
suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with
requirements Conducts program independent reviews and reports
results to program leadership Provides critical support of fielded
hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle Leads
research into technology advances for potential application to
company business needs Makes recommendations for technology
investments Recognized as a business unit-wide expert in process
development and qualification, physical and functional integration
and installation design and resolving supplier technical issues
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience): This position
requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security
Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered

customer concurrence. Bachelors of Science degree or higher in an
engineering classification Experience with troubleshooting
electrical hardware Missile Defense experience Radar Seeker
experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
LabVIEW coding and script writing experience Typical Education /
Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through
advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in
engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
(e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and
experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12
years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is
the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation: This position is based in Huntsville, AL and offers
relocation based on candidate eligibility. Applicants must reside
