Job Description:
Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) is a Huntsville-based
Small Business specializing in providing full-spectrum defense
system engineering, research, design, development, integration,
test, evaluation, and planning services to the U.S. Government. Our

seeking a full-time Senior Acquisition Analyst to support the
Supply Chain Management Directorate by leading the development,
coordination, and execution of acquisition strategies and contract
actions. The selected candidate will provide subject matter
expertise across the acquisition lifecycle, ensuring compliance
with federal acquisition regulations and supporting
mission-critical procurement initiatives. Duties and
Responsibilities: Develop supporting acquisition life cycle
documentation, including milestone documentation, acquisition
strategies, acquisition decision memoranda, and related artifacts.
Conduct acquisition planning activities including market research,
requirements analysis, and procurement strategy development.
Support source selection processes including evaluation planning,
proposal analysis, and documentation of evaluation results.
Coordinate with program management, legal, contracting, and
financial stakeholders to ensure acquisition actions align with
mission requirements and regulatory compliance. Analyze procurement
requirements and recommend appropriate contract types, acquisition
methods, and pricing strategies. Track acquisition milestones,
schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of
procurement activities. Prepare briefing materials, reports, and
acquisition documentation for senior leadership and decision
authorities. Support compliance reviews, audits, and documentation
requests related to acquisition activities. Education: Bachelor’s
Degree in Business, Acquisition Management, Supply Chain
Management, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field. Job
Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of relevant acquisition,
procurement, or contract management experience supporting federal
government programs. Demonstrated experience supporting the federal
acquisition lifecycle from requirements development through
contract award and administration. Strong experience with
non-traditional acquisitions such as Other Transaction Authorities
(OTAs) and/or Commercial Solutions Openings (CSOs). Knowledge of
FAR/DFARS and federal contracting regulations. Experience
supporting acquisition planning, solicitation development, and
source selection processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal
communication skills with the ability to prepare clear acquisition
documentation and executive-level briefings. Strong analytical,
organizational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated,
detail-oriented, and driven to achieve high-quality results in a
fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a
Contracting Officer (CO) or Contracting Officer’s Representative
(COR). Additional Requirements : Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
