Expected hourly range of $36.78 to $40.87, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position Perform the duties of a Stationary Engineer 1 or Stationary Engineer 2 as required. Operate plant equipment in a cost-effective, safe, and reliable manner. Scope is to include plant operations and mechanical maintenance in the plant environment or distribution system as required. This role will serve as a fill-in or relief operator when vacations or absences impact schedules. Otherwise, it will serve during business hour Primary Duties and Accountabilities Monitor assigned plant operations through various controls systems/technologies. Lead or assist in preventative or corrective maintenance activities on mechanical, electromechanical, or control systems throughout the plant. Generate work orders for specialty trade groups as need for advanced maintenance requirements. Ensure water quality at assigned plants by executing prescribed water management procedures and maintaining proper plant chemistry. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED 5-years of experience operating stationary equipment or marine utility operations Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical plant components (Pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, metering devices ) Previous experience performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance Strong organizational skills including reporting, Email, and Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Stationary Engineers License Experience with Siemens Desigo platform 7-years or more experience operating in a district energy system or central utility plant creating chilled water and steam
