Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This position offers an opportunity to deliver
specialized instruction for a student who is Deaf or Hard of
Hearing within a K-12 educational setting in the Atlanta area. The
role is a leave replacement contract, supporting a single student
during school hours, providing focused and individualized
educational services. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct
instruction to a student who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing, following
an established schedule from 10:20 AM to 11:50 AM EST, Monday
through Friday Collaborate with school staff and parents to
implement the students Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Utilize appropriate teaching strategies and assistive technology to
support communication and learning Maintain accurate records of
progress and participate in team meetings as required Adapt
materials and instruction to meet the students needs within a
public school environment Qualifications and Experience: Active
Georgia Department of Education certification as a Teacher of the
Deaf/Hard of Hearing Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing
students in K-12 settings is preferred Ability to work the strict
daily schedule of 7.5 to 10 hours per week, focused on a single
student Strong communication and collaboration skills A passion for
supporting the educational growth of students with hearing loss
Location: Atlanta Area, Georgia (on-site position) This temporary
contract runs from March 17, 2026, through May 22, 2026, providing
a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a student's
