Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a
contracted position in Bessemer, AL. This role supports students
across a range of grade levels, including Early Childhood, Pre-K,
Elementary (K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High School
(Grades 9-12). Responsibilities include conducting speech and
language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans,
and providing therapy services to students with communication
disorders. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, parents, and
other education professionals to promote effective communication
skills and support student success. Desired Qualifications: Valid
SLP certification and licensure for the state Experience working
with children in early childhood through high school settings
Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related
disorders Ability to design and implement individualized therapy
programs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Location:
