Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer. This
position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama and will support
the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program What You'll Get
To Do: What you will get to do, specific duties to include, but are
not limited to the following:
- Administer strict program control processes to ensure
mitigation of risks and supports obtaining Assessment and
Authorization (A&A) of systems.
- Support security process, analysis, coordination, assessment,
documentation, software research.
- Provide security impacts and risk assessments of new system
components and emerging technologies.
- Assist in the implementation of the Risk Management Framework
(RMF), through the required government policy (i.e., NIST SP
800-53, NIST SP 800-37, CNSSI, etc.), make recommendations on
process tailoring, participate in and document process
activities.
- Implement, document, test and verify established security

work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who
work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other
Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance
package. Job Qualifications: You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5
years of relevant engineering experience or a Master's Degree and 3
years of engineering experience.
- Experience in Aerospace and/or System Engineering.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Systems Engineering experience and understanding of the systems
engineering V-Model.
- Experience in software development to include any of the
following: kernel mode, embedded, command and control, web
applications, network
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain specific program
access.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance with an investigation date
within the last 5 years.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with an investigation
date within the last 6 years.
- Experience with C2 systems
- Experience developing OPSCONS or CONOPS
- Experience in the military aerospace development environment is
preferred.
- Experience with weapon systems
- Experience with Agile Development #GBSDsoftware Salary Range:
$101,400 USD - $152,200 USD Employees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
