This position will be located in Huntsville, AL.Position Overview:The selected Principal / Sr. Principal Software Integration Engineer will provide support for the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. Will be responsible for developing and integrating software into a single system. Will also coordinate execution of Software integration tests to verify system operation, and be responsible for integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports. Responsible for implementing all Information Assurance directives on the system to include running IA scans.Essential Functions:
    • Work with software developers as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during software integration.
    • Install and configure Linux and Windows hardware platforms from the OS up to the C2BMC developed applications.
    • Document and verification of all installation and configuration steps to be delivered to the customer.
    • Task and coordinate daily integration activities with other local team members.
    • Develop test plans/procedures for software integration tests.
    • Develop installation scripts to automate system installation.The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.Basic Qualifications (BQs):This requisition may be filled at either a Principal Software Integration Engineer or a Sr. Principal Software Integration Engineer level.BQs for a Principal Software Integration Engineer:
      • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 0 years of experience with a PhD.
      • Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system.
      • Experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system.
      • Experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
      • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.
      • VMWare systems administration and installation experience.
      • Experience with scripting languages.
      • DoD 8570 IAT Level II - Certification
      • A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required to start.BQs for a Sr. Principal Software Integration Engineer:
        • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 9 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 7 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience with a PhD.
        • Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system.
        • Experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system.
        • Experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
        • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.

          • Experience with VM Horizon View.
          • Experience with RHEL 7 and ansible.
          • A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.Salary Range: 92000 - 138000Salary Range 2: 114100 - 171100Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
